I had mentioned in my previous blog posts that I had started a new job but I had not disclosed what company I started to work with. It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I announce that I am one of the newest members of the Slimband team! I have just been so impressed with Slimband from the get go and after my surgery I found out that one of my old work colleagues is currently working for Slimband. Since my background is in Human Resources and I was looking to getting back into that field (since I had taken a break and worked part time since having my children), I inquired to see if they were hiring anyone in HR. To my great astonishment, they were!
I applied and the rest is now history. Even though I am not involved in any of the sales or medical departments, I can see the amazing impact we have on our clients’ lives every day. I can assure you that without a doubt Slimband is a wonderful company to deal with as a patient and just as wonderful to work with. With the exception of having my children, this has been such a memorable year for me since I have decided to take control of my life and have this surgery and then be able to continue my career with a company that I truly believe in. I am looking forward to the future and can’t wait to see what unfolds in my personal and professional life.
